memory with abit nf7s v2

is the abit nf7s v2 motherboard picky about the brand of memory it uses,or does it not matter

Most motherboards don't really care. Check the Abit website (the address should be in your manual) and see what they say. I know that the MSI website has posted test results with tons of components for all of their motherboards (including memory), so Abit may have also done the same thing.

a lot of the time it depends on the RAM itself, I personally have 3 different brands AND speeds of RAM in my PC
ive got PC100, PC125 and PC133
and
Hitashi, Micron Technology, and I don't know the third
I used CPU-Z to find this out

but I agree that on a lot of boards it is a gamble using lower brands
