Hello All,
I am working on my mothers computer. I need to upgrade the bios. I looked all over the motherboard to find the manufac. of it. I know its bios version is ami. Is there any other way to find who the manufac of the mother board and model number so I can go to the website and update the bios?

AIDA32 is a good program to find out yer mobo's manufacturer
as well are Sisioft Sandra, Dr Hardware and Fresh Diagnostcs

you could also write down the numer you see during startup and put it in google. It looks something like this: 2A59IV3GC
its the BIOS ID.
