Default Maxtor 18.6 Gb

i can't get any windows NT based(nt, 2k, xp 2k3) to recognize my hard drive, i've tried (im pretty sure) all jumper settings, and i cant seem to get windows setup to find it, it's not new, but its worked in this sytem before, the back of it looks like this

|:::::::::::::::::::: | :::.: * * * *

any help would be greatly appreciated

ps i want it set on master or single. thanks for the help, and the only reason im asking is because there are no jumper instructions on the drive anywhere.

check maxtor's site or download their iso file. burn that iso to cd. install the maxblast software. on it they have a part, which tells how to configure every last one of their drives
