Default Master Slave Settings Help!

What would be the best setting for following four drives? My motherboard is ASUS A7N8X-X (NOT deluxe)

1. WD 80 GB HDD
2. Plextor PX708-A DVD-RW
3. LG 16X DVD-ROM
4. LG 52X CD-RW

I got only two IDE channels and I am wondering how should I arrange these up. Any advice highly appreciated.

Thanks.

well, I would drop the LG 52X CDRW. No need. The DVD-rw will write at a fast enough speed, and the DVD-rom will read anything you need. You really should have the HDD on the primary alone, and then have two other channels for the CD drives. In either case you will see speed degradation when burning or ripping if using the drive you place on the smae IDE as the HDD. you will also see a slow down in performance if you place the 2 CD media drives on the same IDE connector. If you can get a PCI IDE card then use that for one of the the CD drives that would be ideal.
Hope that helps you...

put hard drive as master with lg16x as slave on same channel than LG 52X CD-RW as master with Plextor PX708-A DVD-RW as slave on an other ide channel
