Unhappy lost software

I need some help. I purchased a DVD-ROM and it came with some Power DVD software. At first, I tried installing it, but it wouldn't work, so it was taken back to get it installed(I wasn't there). After that, I came back from the hospital and I asked where the software was, but nobody knew, so now it's lost. Does anybody know where I can either download Power DVD or get it REALLY cheap? I know ebay is one.

That's just it...I don't have ANY of it. Not the case, not the disc, nothing. Just the drive and the software that's installed on my pathetic comp...maybe if I get Nero or sumthin', I could burn the software?
