Ugh. Been checking out benchmarks for the whole 9600 family and it sucks compared to the 9500 pro. And absolutely destroyed by 9700 pro. You would think there would have been a bigger leap from 9500 to 9600.

I was thinking that the 9600 series can't be this poor.

Anyone have some benchmarks of these midrange to highend cards?

Are these benchmarks legit?

Well, ur Cpu enough to handle games already, especially u have so large of rams~~1GB.
U just have to change a good graphic card.

dude your in for some serious upgrading DITCH THE RAM, at least pc3200. DITCH THE MOBO, gigabyte P4 titan, GEFORCE FX 5700 ULTRA!!!!!!!!!!

whatever card you decide stick with ATI. Get the 9800 pro atleast.

sorry to burst your bubble, but the 5900XT is much better than the 5700 ultra, for about the same price. for now he can leave the motherboard alone, since he said he only want's to up the vid card, he probably doesn't have the money to upgrade the ram and mobo.
