Default Looking into new Monitor..

I am looking into getting a larger monitor end of December beginning of January. Was thinking of this one. Tell me your thoughts.

I have the same exact monitor, but the 22" version. I love it! ASUS makes good monitors. I either go with them, samsung, or Viewsonic.

What about the Contrast Ratio? is 1000:1 to low on a 24" or will I be able to tell?

Itll be fine, 1000:1 is pretty standard across all LCD's..

Im sure you will love it.

I love my Benq 24". Pretty cheap and dandy as well. No problems what so ever.

with a 1920x1080 res will I be able to max cod4 l4d2 and everything with a single gtx260 or is a gpu upgrade going to be needed... I max everything I have right now on 1440x900 res.

Ha, I'm not sure about that one. You might not be able to max it out, but should be able to stay pretty close to the highest quality. You will prolly have to drop the AA a little.
