Looking for a good monitor - yes I've read that sticky thread

Hey all, I've been looking for a monitor with specs similar to these:

1920x1080 (that's a definite), less than £200 ($300, how times change), probably 22" or higher, DVI and HDMI.

I've only found one monitor that fits those attributes, which is the ViewSonic 22" VX2260WM - what I'm wondering is, is that monitor false economy (i.e. is it actually crap), would a 1920x1080 res look crap on a 22" screen, and are there any similar monitors that it would be better to go for? I'm not looking for any great quality, just average or above average.

you'll be looking at a 24" and there are some decent acer/asus monitors out there. don't know if they'll be under 300 as thats a pretty low price for a monitor. you can however get a 24" Acer for 280 atm (us) thats native 24" res.
