Default Logitech S 510 for gaming

I'm planning to get a S 510 to replace my current keyboard, the one that came with my vaio. I'm buying it just for the keyboard and not the mouse. I've read some reviews on newegg that said there is a slight lag when playing FPS games using this keyboard and mouse. Is this true? If it was, would it be VERY noticable? A friend of mine also told me that wireless keyboards are no good for gaming. Would you guys recommend that I get this keyboard? If not, is there another that you guys would recommend?

With today's technology, there is no noticeable difference with a good wireless keyboard vs a wired keyboard.

A lot of the new wireless devices are coming in 2.4GHz frequency, just like your cordless phone. You won't notice any more lag with that then you would with a regular wired component.
