ok, i have installed linux for the 2nd time, and still cant get the dual boot to work. Heres exactly what i did, maybe some1 can point out what i am supposed to do.
I have 2 20 gig hard drives. Windows install on a 7 gig partition on HD1 and HD2 is unpartitioned
I downloaded suse 9.1 personal, and the boot disk
I insert boot disk, and reboot pc.
The installation menu comes up, u choose install. Then i choose to install on same HD as windows, on a new partition. It says there is some free spare, install linux there? i say yes.
Then i change the grub to boot setor w/e. So i did NOT choose MBR.
I install and all, all goes fine. Installation finishes, and pc reboots to windows.
I cant even boot in linux, even with boot cd
