LGA775 HELP power source?

I have recently purchased an ABIT AG-8 motherboard for my LGA775 cpu.It has a 24 pin power plugin and the a 4 pin 12v plugin my power supply has the option of being a 24pin or 20 pin because of 4 removable pins,and also has the 4 pin 12v connector.My motherboard says that it is compliant to the 20 pin power supply type but does not specify which pins to be left blank.Please Help

Yea 24 pin is better than 20 pin and would be easier for you to use. Just remove the cover and use all 24 pins.

So i should use the 24 pin option and the 4 pin 12v plug that connects in the corner?What do both of these do?

Use the 20-pin option. Take the 4 pin molex connector and connect that to where it is supposed to go, into the AUX power. Also the 20pin can only go in one way, if it fits it is correct.
