Default Lets just say

okay lets say I get the best PCI card out there (even though they all suck) and I max out my RAM and do whatever else you recomend. Do you think I will be able to play The Sims 2 smoothly?

Your trying to play on a Celeron? They suck for gaming.

I agree.. ive been stuck with this celeron for almost 2 years now... trust me my lil bros p3 (1.2 Ghz) runs games better than my 1.7ghz celeron.. but pretty soon i will finish building the computer i am workin on noww .. but back to the topic even tho it is a celeron smis 2 should run fine on high settings.. its not THAT demanding of a game (3D wise)...
