I have a lite-on LDW-811s. It is on the secondary IDE channel and i think it is the slave (not sure though). Since i recently re-formatted my PC, it has not been behaving properly, for instance, i am having I/O errors from a DVD+RW i burnt before the reformat and some programs of discs refuse to launch. DMA is enabled so could it be this. I know the discs are OK as my normal DVD reader reads tham fine. any ideas anyone?
