Hi, I'm looking for an LCD TV with these features:

17"
16:9
PiP
HD-ready

I'm going to use it most for (in order):

1) Xbox
2) PC
3) TV

I want to spend under $450. I've found two options that look pretty good.

1) Dell w1700: Above average reviews, kind of wondering about picture quality though. Limited PiP functionality. Can get a factory refurb for just under $400.

2) Samsung LTM-1775W: It's older, but it got good reviews at the time - said it had the best picture quality of comparable models. Has advanced PiP features. Can get a factory refurb for $430.

Both have a contrast ratio of 400:1, which is fine with me. All other features/specs are pretty much the same.

Any advice?

By any chance you are talking about a LCD monitor simlar to a TFT? Or an actual televison?

If you are talking about the monitor then you also want to check out what MS Speed its running at and also the Refresh rate of the monitor.

Well this is factory refurbished, so it comes in a sealed factory box with all of the original accessories. Approximately one in ten has an actual blemish, which would be very minimal. Maybe a pixel missing or something. Both of the TVs also come with a 90 day warranty.

It is a TFT LCD TV, not a monitor. There are no MS speed or refresh rate specs.

I don't know if we can post pics or not, but here is the Dell:

and here is the Samsung:
