LCD Monitors, Best Brands??

LaCei, MAG, BenQ (top models)

When i was shopping at the time for LCd's, 16ms was the fastest at the time, and there were two 16ms models to chose from, the Viewsonic VP171s 17" and the comparable 17" BenQ, I haven't heard of BenQ until that time and the sales person pointed me towards the Viewsonic which is what I wanted anyways.

Here's my point, the BenQ was between 50-100 bucks cheaper than the Viewsonic, I thought that cheaper meant lower quality and that too was a deciding factor on what LCD to buy at the time. So, if BenQ or more pro quality, why are there products so cheap? Or is it just that I got screwed from big corporation?

P.S. no matter what, I still love my Viewsonic

just bought a dell and after shopping around it was the best i could find and at a reasonable price. i love it.

I have a Rosewill, probably not to well known, but its a pretty kickass LCD. I havent had any problems, and it is pretty cheap too (270 bucks) Nice Picture!
