could it possible be something else, like I was reading this other old forum about people having LCD problems with a Dell. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/rema...9028~mode=flat
if this sparks your idea to something that I can personally fix with my hands and something cheaper, then tell me.. I don't know where to start.

heres my problem... I offered to reformat my nephews laptop with XP and also install some other stuff in their for him. So I was about done with everything and I took it to the library to study with it. I placed it in the seat car and it slipped down to the floor of the car and that is when the LCD wasn't working. Could that have borken something?
