Default LCD and CRT monitors

Can LCD monitors get affected or damaged by CRT monitors in close proximity to the LCD monitor?

You see, im getting a 19" LCD and i wanna have it with my 17" CRT in Dual monitor.

Short answer -- No.

Longer answer: No magnets in the LCD so no magnetic interference given or received.

Thanks
