laptop wireless internet

Hi, ive just bought a laptop and i was wondering about getting wireless internet for it and was wondering what specs does the laptop need to have and what hardware do i need to get to get wireless internet, Thanks.

You need a wireless router and something in your laptop to receive that signal. Did your laptop come with integrated wireless? If not, you can use a PCMCIA card, or a USB wireless card. You can buy combo's on www.newegg.com for like $80
