Laptop Sound card

I am very close to purchasing a laptop. Probably the dell inspiron 9300... well they have a the option to put a sound card in for you. Dell is charging $100 more to add a PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook sound card. My question: Is it worth it? Will the audio even sound better? Chances are I'm not going to hook up a nice 5.1 surround sound system to it. I will either be using the laptop speakers or my headphones. Thanks for any help.

I you *have* to hook the Audigy up to speakers for it to work at all.

You cna probably find the same card cheaper online. Dell is famous for inflating prices.

Unless you're an audio freak, you won't need it.
