My laptop was working perfectly earlier, put it into hibernation to go out.
When i came back the screen isnt working when i hold fn and press f11 it flickers and dissapears, works on the plasma.
Any ideas, cheers.
resolutions at 1024 x 768, didn't touch it just put the screen down when i put it into hibernation. It's still under warranty so if it's broke i'll take it back tomorrow.
had the same problem with a Dell. They seemed to know about this before I was done explaining it to them.... It's a problem with the screen and/or ribbon cable...
I'm pretty sure they will fix it for free.
It's a packard bell e6100.
Just got an email from customer service at head office, asking me the managers name. So hopefully good news coming my way.
