Laptop Resolution

I have a Toshiba laptop that I have windows 95 on. Yes, I know, old. I just use notepad and solitaire on it. Anyway. Not too far back, I clicked the wrong button on my resolution and now all I see are lines going vertical that are on the screen in black and white. Can anyone help me fix this problem? I don't know how to do it and I'd like to be able to fix it. Post here or e-mail me at celicagirly@yahoo.com. I need the comp. to do some school work.

press F8 whle the comptuer is booting to get into safe mode. Then, never touch the resolution setting again.

lol.. That advice is great.. lol.. don't tinker unless you have the time and patience to try and fix it.. lol..

Maybe the display drives can be updated?
