Acer vs Compaq vs HP?

What is the concensus? I was thinking Acer for work purposes. Dont really wanna pay for brand name.

Acer laptops are worse than dells.

they are bad quality, but the price is usually pretty good.

Compaq and HP are made under the same chain, so they are the same, basic laptops.

over the three, i would choose compaq, because HP's supposedly have problems, and acer is too cheap.

im just saying that acer is bad because its sold at radio shack...(you get the idea)

but HP is a huge company, therefore they can make laptops for cheaper than acer and dell.
