Laptop CPU Fan Problem

I'm running a Dell Latitude (laptop) CPxH - it has a 500 MHZ PIII processor. The CPU fan seems to have died! I really need this computer for this trip that I'm leaving for in about one hour...are there any quick solutions to the problem? I opened up the keyboard, and everything is plugged in right.

check to the see if the wires from the fan are going into the correct power socket on your mobo.. the wires are supposed to be yellow black and red and on the end there is supposed to be a small plastic unifier which connects them into the mobo. if its in there, make sure its tight.
