Laptop Battery Usage Tips
Fully charge new battery packs before use. New pack needs to be fully charged and discharged (cycled) a few times before it can condition to full capacity.
Always store a battery pack in a fully charged state.
Fully drain and fully recharge your battery pack every few months.
For longer battery life, turn down the LCD brightness of your portable device
Turn off the LCD or other unnecessary accessories when not in use
Add more RAM if you have an extra RAM expansion slot, as this will reduce the usage of your hard drive that is power exhaustive.
Close unused software in your notebook.
Remove unused PC cards or USB devices from your notebook computer.
Don't short circuit the terminals or store your battery pack with metal parts.
Don't drop or mutilate the battery pack.
Don't expose battery pack to moisture.

Great tips.

The only thing i would add on is that you could buy a better quality battery for a laptop, that would increase battery life.

You could just buy a bigger cell battery so it would increase battery life too :classic:

Nice tips, but the next spam will get you banned. Previous spam deleted.

They're making new ways of trying to spam, by making a little how-to guide?

ha, you got forgot to add don't constantly charge the battery i mean if the battlery is at 90% and you just charge it to full and is very consious that the battery will be low soon, because you're making it die sooner.
