The battery feature of Windows XP sucks major bullocks. I am trying to keep track of my battery, however, I need a thing that goes in the taskbar, you know, down where the start menu is, where all the toolbars go, however, I don't like the Windows XP one simply because it's so inaccurate, I've managed to squeeze twenty percent more out of it by it shutting down and restarting, but a few minutes later, like a few, maybe five, it gives me that crap again. The biggest inaccuracy was forty minutes, and this is on a lithium-ion battery. I'm looking for a program that looks similar to the IBM Battery MaxiMiser, I've thought about writing one, but I have zero clue as to how to go about doing that. I've thought about buying a new notebook, which will probably be sometime in august for college, on top of the job and other crap I have to take care of. But if someone knows a program that emulates the IBM Battery MaxiMiser it would be greatly appreciated.
