I'm looking for 1 gig, which is the best brand for around $80-$95?

Does my board support dual channel?

Should I get Dual Channel memory anyways if its not?

I would like ram that I can reuse later, when i upgrade from my Athlon 64 2800+, and not have it be a bottleneck.

Like you said though, you can still get a "dual channel kit" any ways. RAM itself is not dual channel. Just certain RAM is marked dual channel if it has been tested to run in dual channel mode. You can get a dual channel kit then move it into a socket 939 board or something later to run it in dual channel mode.

I hope this new ram will make that look like crap.

I got the same ram a couple of weeks ago too. Now I am waiting for my darn case cause I had to rma it to newegg. It did not have a power led wire. Im hoping this ram will be ok when i finally get the puter built.
