Check your retaining clips , see if eather are bent or maybe your retention dam got mesed up. Other than that I'm kinda stumped.

Right, I've had an idea if I use the spring screws that came with the Thermalright heat sink ( that i ordered by mistake thinking that it would fit ( I'm an idiot ) ) and I break the plastic attaching thingys off the intel heat sink and use the spring screws instead... Would that work?
