Is there any program you can download off the net to detect your motherboard make and model?

yes lots of them .Try SiSoftware Standard Very good tool that will let you no whats what in your system . Use the freeware

just click on dxdiag in ur run window if you are using a win xp operating system

you will fing a lot of info over there but yes ther are a lot of software available on download.com

yes just look on your motherboard. should be printed in text on it.

Usualy if you look in the bios settings. Is a number in there that should tell you exactly what board you got.Well at least after a search on the internet.
