Kingston SD Cards

im in the market for a new 512 or 256mb secure digital memory card..
what is everyone's opinion on kingston cards?

my main concern is the speed.. ive heard lexar's are super fast.. and sandisk's are kinda slow.. so where does the kingston fit in?
and are teh sandisk's really that slow?
