Question Keyboard, who know???

Recently my keyboard doesn´t work when i start my computer. That has happen twice. And i can´t understand why. I haven´t toched the conector. And when i restart the computer it work well, without touching anything, only restarting.
That has happened with the mouse too. Not only in windows xp (my operative sistem), but in windows 98 too (my friend´s operative sistem). And i have check my computer for viruses, spyware, disk integrity,...... and ..... NOTHING.
Can anyone explain to me, what is going on?
Thanks.

check the acual cord from the keyboard into the computer.

tha cord may be damaged or the pins may be bent or damaged on the connector.

What spfd said. Sounds like the keyboard connection is starting to go. Get a new one cheap and you will know.
