VIA's making a new chipset for socket 939 that's going to support x8 AGP and x16 PCI- Express and it's supposed to come out late this summer. The article here
compares it to the K8T800. So you could still use AGP cards and then switch over to PCI- Express when it statred to show a performance difference in games.
Since the new socket 939 came out and I may build myself a PC. Does anybody think I should get a motherboard with the K8T890 chipset and a 3500+ or 3800+ to go with it.
