Angry k i need help with my ram.

my question is do ram have to be in the same clock settign( the ram timing thing that i dotn get) to work with each other. i bought some cheap ram(PNY it was on epecail) and put it with my xms ram it wouldnt work. try put it in dif slots and no luck. the 2 cheap rams work together but as soon as i put the xms ram the computer beeps. but the xms works by it self the only thing that is left the setign of the ram right? if so whow i change the settign of the ram.

What are your system specs? What is the speed of the XMS and PNY memory? Reset the BIOS to default timings and see if all the memory works together. How many black chips are on the new and old memory?
