When I'm purchasing a lot of stuff, I always buy a bit at a time, let it get to me, then order the next bit. That way if something comes wrong or (eek) doesn't come, I don't have 17 things to think about. Just a couple at a time.

instead of ordering 2 120 GB drives order one 120 GB and then another 10,000 RPM WesternDigital drive (74 or 36 GB)

Because the day I buy another WD HDD, is the day I should be committed...

I stick only with Seagate. One of the drives I have now is a WD
120g, bought in a bind, and the damn thing is dying as we speak. It's only a year old!

Whilst my Seagate Barracuda 80g is 5 years old and still humming along brilliantly.
