i need some serious help.
my game (any game that i put on) freezes or crashes to windows and it sometimes gives me a: "game.exe causes an error in d3d8.dll" error message while running a 3d game.
i figured it has got to be the video drivers, right? wrong.
i downloaded the latest driver for my nvidia video card (GeForce 2 mx 400 64mb) and still gave me the same problems.
i figured maybe because my motherboard is so damn old it wont let me use mx 400.
i replaced it with an mx 200. still never worked.
i tried geforce mx, still never worked.
what could possibly solve this?
my system (its pretty old):
amd duron 750 mhz
geforce 2 mx
256 sdram
jetway 663as/663as pro motherboard
