Question January 11 Mac Releases Info?

I heard mac will be releasing to public new, updated products (I plan on purchasing a mac powerbook). Should I wait? Will prices change for current products? Does anyone know any information about what should be expected from this Jan 11 release?

Macs = overpriced hippyware..

I say hippyware because that's basically what Steve Jobbs was and you're paying way too much for the design of the outer part of the computers, the cases and mice all look nifty but that means nothing to me when it costs $1000 above what it should be and with that money could build an insanely more powerful computer.

Personally I would never suggest anyone to get a powerbook as the price is just ridiculous in comparison to it's abilities, not even worth it.

Either price of current products will drop or the new product will just be that much higher than the current
