Issue with Onboard lan card

Hello everyone, i didn't know if this was a better topic for hardware or networking but i believe its more of a hardware issue
I just formatted my Amd 3200+ and windows isn't detecting my onboard lan card. the windows is a service pack 2 pro and windows is detecting "other devices" but their icons are question marks. The devices its detecting but have ? marks are and ethernet controller and a multimedia audio controller.
i tried installing new mobo drivers. i have a MSI MS-6702 VIA I am really unsure why windows isnt detecting my Ethernet, it was working fine before the formatt.

You need to install drivers for the ethernet port to work.
It should be on the CD that came with your motherboard.

Make sure that u enable the onboard LAN at bios and install the driver.
