If it was the same pc, just with a different psu, then it would be the same, as a pc only takes what it needs from the psu.


also a kilowatt hour is one unit.

Im talking about a low quality celeron and a higher quality amd fx55, they would consume different amouts of power, right?

Mines been on pratically all week, just with a few restarts (installing things, changing settings etc). They are fine, but use a lot of electricity :P (costs a lot). I need to get a more power efficient monitor really :P

If you leave it on all day, it will heat your room. My room mate and I leave our computers on all the time and we can turn the heat off, because they heat the room for us.

I run my comp 24/7 too, I wonder what fraction of the electric bill is a consequence to this...
