we've seen it with tv . . . almost all programs are in widescreen . ..

all movies are in widescreen

is there reason to believe that computer monitors should become widescreen? will games turn to widescreen?

i just dont wanna be stuck with a 4:3 monitor while everything is 16:9 or 16:10

it happened to me with tv; dont want it to happen with pc monitor

I think they are, and it's already happening. I've seen in sotres, like 20" LCD monitors that are used as computer monitors, but can aslo be used as TV's.

I have a widescreen laptop 16:9 and the game performance isn't bad. What I did notice is that not all games support the 1200x800 resolution so you have to play some games with a lower resolution to take advantage of the screen.

In general, it isnt too bad, I'ave grown used to it.

well actually, i think laptops are 16:10 (i really dont understand y)

also, i really need a ws lcd that has a REALLY good refresh rate (16, but preferrably 12)

cause if i get a ws lcd, i'll also watch movies (high speed intense ones) that need a good refresh rate (at least better than 25ms)
