I just got all my parts together for replacing key parts in an old computer to help me build on some skills. I have the motherboard (Intel D865PERL), processor (P4), video card (256megs), RAM (1gig DIMM), and an aditional 45gig HD. And when I replaced everything I hit some problems...duh. The first being, the Power LED cable is one prong to big for the FP header. And i'm not really sure which side of the cables face in and out on the header. The second problem could be linked to the first, the monitor is working fine, but not showing the graphics. The last being, the CD drive is not opening or responding at all.
