There is no real limit to the amount of graphics memory, as long as your motherboard is compatible with the graphics card.

If you feel that you don't want to upgrade your motherboard and processor altogether, there are some good PCI cards around, namely the Radeon 9100 and GeForce FX 5200 (64-256 MB graphics RAM).

How much would upgrading to say about a one GHz processor cost and I'm guessing I'd have to buy a motherboard that supports it as well? By the way what color are the PCI slots?

My new upgraded and slightly less disappointing system specs-
Trigem motherboard
667 megahertz Intel Celeron
Intel(r) 82810 Graphics Controller
Generic IDE hard disk drive (30.00 GB)
Crystal WDM Audio Codec
HP PAVILION M50 [Monitor]
Windows Me
