I've owned a ton of GB boards, and OC'd like crazy on all of em
broke one myself but the others are still going fine. I don't really care about warranty from Gigabyte as I'll already have a 1-3 year warranty from whatever retailer I buy it from.
On topic. For home users, *def* go Asus. As Yami said the Intel boards are used more for business workstations and/or servers.
