Question Intel Hex Format

How do you decode a file that is encoded to Intel Hex format?
I mean say theirs a JPEG and U encoded it to intel hex format.
Now u have only the intel hex code of it.
and U wanna decode it back to the original jpeg.

How can u do this? Are their any tools for this?

I donno if this is the appropriate section to post this.. But since Intel Hex is used to programm EPROM's i thought its better to post here..

you should be able to use any type of hex editor. has alot of stuff like that.
