Default Installing new video card

alright i just got this new video card Gygabite radeon 9550 128mb ram. i was just wondering how i go about installing it. like any tips, suggestions so i dont mess anything up!! anyone can plug ina card to a board, just wondering if someone can help me out on it alil bit. any prior steps before installing, or is it just basically plug and play ?

Uninstall old video card drivers, if applicable

Plug in card

Install new drivers

unintall your previouse graphics from the device manager....hit NO when it asks to restart. manually SHUT DOWN.
take out the card, replace with the gigabyte, turn on the computer.
window's will most likely install their driver for that card, then you can install your thrid party or gigabyte driver if you desire.
