nope, no true at all. you can just pop it in, nd boot up your computer and away it goes.
XP installs drivers automaticlly, even thoughthey are most likly the generic ones, but you can go to control panel uninstal them and istallthe proper drivers for the card
to install a new video card on windows machine all you have to do is disable onboard video if the motherboard has one. than turn off your computer and unplug the power cord from it.
install the new video card and plug the monitor to it. turn you computer back on and install the video driver CD that came with your video card
