Installed Volcano 9 on 2200+

Just put a new heatsink/processor fan on and its running at 40 degrees idle and it only goes up to 44 degrees when playing a quick botmatch in unreal tournament 2003. Im assuming these are good temps. but just checking.

Good temps indeed. If it should get up above 50, then be a little curious.

I was wondering why it says not to have the fan up on full speed at all times, I really dont want to have to mess with it if i dont have to. I can install the fan control, but i dont see why i need to have it down when its not hot. Can someone fill me in

Other than noise considerations, I don't see why you shouldn't have it on high, if u want.
