I upgraded from a 1800+ 1.5ghz amd/old abit kr7 mobo and 512 2100 ram to the system I have now (same video card) and I get 30-50 fps depending on how many corpses are flieing on my screen :)

The game is very hardware demanding. They were not kidding when they wrote the recommended requirments, anyhting under, and you will get horrible fps.

Joint ops is an amazing game when you can play it with good fps.

so, if i wanted the

P4 2.4GHz 533MHz FSB 512k L2 Cache
256MB RDRAM PC1066
64MB nVidia GeForce MX 420

machine to work, better video card and upgrade the RAM to 512?

rdram has been really expensive for a while but its down to like 50 bucks for a stick of 128mb......

BUT, if i get a better graphics card i will need a bigger power supply and therefore.........guess i need to build my own....

i feel like going to the mall and beating those dell people half to death with my shitty PC....(btw no, i didnt actually buy the pc from the mall)

I really dont like buying PC's from PCWORLD, TIME or Dell... I also loathe Compaq.

I always build my own systems now, very customizable and you learn about computers as you are building.
