Important Question ????

Hi , i'm a new user in this forum .......... i'm having a problem in my
pc ....... its intel pentium 4 , 256 ram , 256 ati radeon video card,
DVD Burner ,
The problem is when i play sound files such as Mp3 ......& play a game or work in another program ....... the sound cuts & becomes
very unclear .......
So what s the problem ........is it in my pc or in my operating system .......i'm using windows mellinum cuz i had windows xp 1st
then i got viruses & i had to install windows millenium cuz i dont have a windows Xp cd .

i Hope someone helps me soon .

By the way my pc is 2.4 Ghz & i have directx 9.0

u have 256 ram that first . what game are u playing? if it is a cpu isntese game then yes it would do that. but that 256 is killing you.
You u runnign windows xp?

yeah, if you can go out and buy windows xp professional with sp2. and download zone alarm, Ad-Aware SE Personal. Do windows update when you can. get mozilla firefox also, IE (internet explorer) is a very unsecure browser.

btw check mobo before splashing out on ram, it may sound obvious but seriously...there shouldn't be a problem but...

For The record i had windows xp installed before & i didnt have this probelm ......... do u think its the operating system that i'm using
