Image/logo at boot?

Is it possible to customize the logo or image when a computer first turns on, and if so, how? I built a comp awhile ago and would like to customize that.

do u mean the post screen or the motherboard logo some have or the operating sytem logo?

if u have a gigabyte motherboard you can get your own picture and set is at post screen, mind you it only supports 16 Colours!

really! how far back does this go? lol its just i only have one gigabyte board and thats an ancient p1!!!

I know you can change the boot screen of Windows with StyleXP, but I assume you mean the one from the motherboard.
well then it depends on the motherboard.
if you know how to edit a BIOS (which you probabbly don't, hardly anybody does) then you can create a new one, but I'd say probabbly not.
