apples are unix based os so that is basically linux....

if your not doing any gaming get an apple. best thing period
find a mall with an apple store and spend a good 30 min there asking questions

XP is very stable. At least when using Opera. It was more stable on the comp in my sig than on this IBM 400MHz.

For laptops, I would always go Dell. For computers, I would build them myself. And, the Inspiron XPS is not a very good laptop as it is more like a compressed desktop. The ****in' thing gives a measley two hours of battery life and IT IS CLASSIFIED AS A GAMING LAPTOP! HAH!

the sager 9860 only has a 40gb hdd, and the video isnt all that great.
