identifying a mobo?

well i have soem mobo in soem pcs laying around i got them from a friend and is there nay way how i can tell what kind of mobo it is i tried botting it up but something wrong with the hdd so i was wonderign if there's a way without botting up the pc?

If you inspect the the surface of the motherboard, you should find printing somewhere which tells you the model.

If the computers are working then CPU-Z will tell you, can be downloaded at www.cpuid.com
